Privacy Policy

Last updated and effective date: 30 January 2026

PLEASE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY. THIS PRIVACY POLICY DESCRIBES HOW WE COLLECT, USE, PROCESS, STORE, AND DISCLOSE INFORMATION WHEN YOU ACCESS OR USE OUR WEBSITE AND RELATED SERVICES (COLLECTIVELY, THE “SERVICES”). BY ACCESSING OR USING THE SERVICES IN ANY MANNER, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO THE COLLECTION, USE, AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION AS DESCRIBED IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY.

1. Introduction

The Services provide a time conversion tool and related pages such as a blog and contact form. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Cookie Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information depending on how you use the Services.

2.1 Information You Provide (Contact)

If you contact us through the contact form, we collect the information you submit, such as your name, email address, and message content. We use this information to respond to your request.

2.2 Conversion Inputs, Saved Conversions, and Share Links

The calculator is designed to work without an account. To improve usability, the Services may store your most recent inputs and results locally in your browser (for example, using localStorage) so they can be restored when you return.

If you use the “Share” feature, the Services may generate a URL that includes your input values and settings in the URL parameters so someone else can open the same conversion state. If you share such a link, anyone with the link can view the values encoded in the URL.

2.3 Usage, Device, and Log Information

When you access the Services, our hosting infrastructure and application may automatically receive and log certain information, which can include:

  • your IP address;
  • browser type and device information;
  • the date/time of access and pages viewed; and
  • the requested URL (which may include query parameters).

This information is typically used for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and basic operations.

2.4 Analytics (When Enabled)

We may use analytics tools in production environments when configured. Analytics providers may collect information about your interactions with the Services and may use cookies or similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for more details.

3. How We Use Information

We use information for the following purposes:

  • to operate and maintain the Services;
  • to provide the calculator features (including restoring saved conversions on your device);
  • to respond to messages you send via the contact form;
  • to monitor, debug, and improve performance and reliability; and
  • to protect the Services from abuse, fraud, and security incidents.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information in the following situations:

  • Service providers: We may share limited information with vendors that help us operate the Services (for example, hosting providers, email delivery providers for contact form messages, and analytics providers when enabled).
  • Legal and safety: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of the Services and others.
  • Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Data Retention

  • Contact messages: We may retain contact form submissions for as long as necessary to respond and for recordkeeping and security purposes.
  • Local saved conversions: Saved conversions stored via localStorage remain on your device until you clear your browser storage.

6. Your Choices

  • You can clear browser storage (including localStorage) to remove saved conversions.
  • You can control cookies via your browser settings. Some cookies may be required for basic functionality (for example, language preference). See our Cookie Policy.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting the updated Privacy Policy on this page, with the revised effective date indicated above.

9. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us.
